The TAC89 Keep Fighting: Officer Survival & Resiliency Under Pressure Block Training delivers high-impact speaking and training focused on officer survival, resilience, and performance under pressure—led by retired Corporal Andy Rodriguez, a former police officer and SWAT team member who survived a critical on-duty shooting incident.

During an apprehension with a violent suspect, Rodriguez sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the chest, upper back, and rib cage area. He was later resuscitated by emergency medical staff in the ER. The trauma surgeons and physicians who saved his life stated that without his mental resilience & the high level of physical conditioning he maintained, he likely would not have survived injuries that carried an estimated 1–3% survival rate.

Today, Rodriguez shares the lessons, strategies, workouts, and mindset that helped him overcome a near-death experience, focusing on mental resilience, physical fitness, officer wellness, and tactical performance training for first responders and high-performance teams.

In addition to his law enforcement and tactical experience, Andy is currently pursuing the NSCA Tactical Strength and Conditioning Facilitator (TSAC-F) certification to further support the training.
